THEMES IDENTIFIED
BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY
Purpose:
The themes will be used in our communications and outreach work
with the media, the public and movement activists to say what
the TSF is about.
We encourage program proposals that
address the themes. Each thematic area is conceived as a cluster
of concerns that are local and global. We recognize that groups
may situate themselves under more than one theme.
We hope that these themes will be integrated and cross-cutting.
We therefore encourage panelists, workshop leaders and presenters
to explore the themes in creative ways that cut across issues
and movements. The themes are intended to provoke and expand our
thinking, not to contain or exclude anyone. We welcome any proposal
in the spirit of the TSF.
